“The 21st Century starts NOw”

Code of Cinder is an unorthodox 3D action-adventure game inspired by games developed around the year 2000.

In Code of Cinder, you control a children’s toy exploring a household devoid of humans. Sprawling kingdoms, perilous heights, and terrifying dungeons; courageous heroes battle an ancient evil… all within a child’s bedroom.

Travel back to the year 2000

Code of Cinder intends to replicate the novelty of 2000s gaming and early 3D art. The game features stylistically classic animations, textures, and models to emulate that nostalgic look of the early 21st Century.

Code of Cinder’s gameplay design; including UI, control scheme, level layout, and player progression are crafted to recreate the simple yet addicting gameplay from 20 years ago.

An adventure unlike anything before

Code of Cinder is about an action figure toy named Hikari, who must save the toy kingdom from her nemesis, Darkness the Usurper. After being thrown out the bedroom window, Hikari must make her way back through the house and battle terrifying evil!

Players will encounter a plethora of delightful characters and dastardly villains. Abandoned by humans, these toys have built a world rich in lore. Code of Cinder features a wacky, unorthodox story full of surprises, laughs, and introspection.

Dedicated Fans; a labor of love

It’s no mystery that Code of Cinder is a spiritual successor to the stories Jakob Dawson wrote as a child. Taking these stories to Youtube, dedicated fans of his work were inspired enough to send him their support, as well as countless pieces of fanart, to encourage Jakob to take his story to the next level!

Code of Cinder’s game development started in 2021, but the concept has been built up and refined over the past 10 years!
